Statement of faith

We believe in the following fundamental biblical truths and doctrine

The Trinity

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(1 John 5:6-8)

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
(2 Tim. 3:16-17)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God revealed in the flesh. He was born of a virgin and He lived a life without sin. We believe in His miracles, His substitutionary and redeeming death, His physical resurrection, His ascension and that He sits by the Father’s right hand from where He will return to earth in power and glory.
(1 Cor. 15:3-4; 1 Pet. 2:18-24; John 3:16)

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. All believing Christians receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation as a seal of salvation. We believe that being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit is a separate experience from salvation, but an extension of the new birth. By the baptism of the Holy Spirit we receive strength to live and serve God. The Holy Spirit gives anointing and gifts to minister for God. We believe that all Christians can be baptized with the Holy Spirit and must seek it. We believe that all Christians can be blessed with the gifts of the Spirit and the gift of tongues as a personal gift for prayer and worship to God.
(Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 1:8; Eph. 1:13-14)

Blessings

We believe in total healing, deliverance and restoration for spirit, body and soul by the atonement of Christ. We believe in the provision for all needs in our life.
(Isa. 53:4; Matt. 8:16-17; Mark 16:18; 1 Pet. 2:24; Phil. 4:19)

Salvation

We believe man is lost, and needs salvation. We believe that the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ, by believing in Him as Saviour and Lord.
(John 14:6, 3:16)

Baptism

Baptism is a burial of the old life/self and an identification and proclamation of faith in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection.
(1 Pet. 3:21; Gal. 3:27; Rom. 6:4-5)

Return of Christ

We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
(1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 22:20; John 14:3)
